**Purpose**:
We are seeking Payments and Treasury Clerk to join our team in Toronto, Canada for a 4-8 month contract. **Accounting Interns are welcome.**

You will be responsible for supporting the team with accurate and diligent data entry of payments and treasury transactions, documenting and preparing reports, and filling in gaps in our operations cycles, including documentation and preparation of reports. Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines will contribute to the team's overall success.

You will work with the Treasury Team and report to the Director of Finance and follow the work instructions of our Senior Payments and Treasury Clerk.

**What you will do**:

- Verify accuracy in reports, figures, and postings
- Perform high volume of data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, Excel or other computer software
- Review errors, missing or invalid information and resolves any discrepancies
- Prepare and issue documents and reports
- Prepare period or cost statements and reports
- Perform regular backups and ensure reports are in order
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or post-secondary diploma preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- Accuracy and adaptive to processing tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with attention-to-detail
- Ability to follow guidelines and repetitive processes to ensure successful day-to-day operation
- Cooperative and willing to assist others
