**Responsibilities**:_
- Content Creation:

- Develop creative and engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with the BLK OWNED team to align content with the overall brand messaging and marketing goals.
- Community Engagement:

- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms.
- Foster meaningful interactions with our online community to enhance brand loyalty and awareness.
- Identify and engage with business owners, partner organizations, and general community
- Social Media Analytics:

- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) on social media platforms.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on analytics to optimize future content and engagement strategies.
- Campaign Support:

- Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of social media campaigns.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure alignment between social media efforts and overall marketing initiatives.
- Trend Monitoring:

- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
- Propose innovative ideas to keep our social media strategy current and effective.
- Reporting:

- Generate regular reports summarizing social media performance and key metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to the marketing team.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, majoring in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop engaging content.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Comfortable with taking initiative
- Able to commute event venues and businesses in the GTHA
- Knowledge of Greater Hamilton Area community based organizations and businesses
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required

**Job Types**: Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
