Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, the Ancillary Product Specialist is responsible for the sales support and account development of clients in assigned territory. This position provides customer service and support and builds optimal client relationships.

**Responsibilities**:
**Sales and representation**
- Achieving business unit objectives by successfully meeting annual sales and service goals and targets through sales support and account development of IA Dealer Services clients.
- Accelerating revenue growth in territory by:

- Developing current dealer accounts with iA Dealer Services Sales Manager and Consultants.
- Working with Sales Management identify, opportunities for new Ancillary Product business growth.
- Providing regular technical and/or product knowledge training for new and current accounts. Work with National Trainer, Ancillary Products to ensure unified material and message is being delivered to national sales force.
- Providing technical support to OEM campaigns including equipment troubleshooting, repair and set up where required.
- Traveling (or virtually) throughout the territory regularly to support sales, product knowledge and service for all clients.
- Ensuring marketing channels are exhausted in territory to maximize sales opportunities in support of meeting objectives, goals and targets.
- Participate in iA Dealer Services training.
- Assists trainers when needed.
- Recruit participants for attendance.
- Any other tasks required or assigned by the company.

**Internal Administration**
- Performing competitor analysis and identifying gaps in the marketplace to capitalize on market opportunities
- Utilizing sales reports to assess the performance of clients. Work with their Sales Manager to develop strategic plans to improve performance and ancillary penetration in underperforming accounts.
- Collaborating with strategic alliances/business partner representatives for business development in the territory, assessing their performance and making suggestions to their Sales Manager if adjustments are necessary.
- Working closely with the Sales Manager to develop strategic plans to meet sales goals and targets for Ancillary Products and adjusting/realigning strategies as required.
- Assisting the National Claims Manager, iA Dealer Services Consultants and internal customer service team with handling of claims as required.
- Analyzing market and industry trends, product life cycles and consumer trends.

**Technical Knowledge**:
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all DK product and plans distributed by iA Dealer services, and competing market products
- General knowledge of systems used by retailers (UniFI, Unifi 2.0, Dealertrack, Ebiz, other common software providers.)
- Expert knowledge of DK platform.
- Extensive knowledge of the market and operations of a business office.

**Know How**:
- Ability to solve problems of various types with a positive outcome for customer, dealer partner & iA.- Ability to share and train on ancillary products and skills in an educational way to both internal iA staff and external dealer staff.- Ability to conduct sales forecasts, utilize a variety of sales metrics/reports, and manage budgets to evaluate sales performance.
