Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the **Warehouse Supervisor** will facilitate the efficient operation of the Warehouse Department managing the day-to-day activities of the team and employees to ensure efficient and effective movement, storage, and inventory planning of raw materials and finished goods while complying with Company, Corporate, and pertinent Federal safety rules, and standards.

**Your day-to-day activities will include**:

- Ensure all customer orders and requirements are picked and loaded in a timely manner according to shipping schedule.
- Manage and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations such as inbound transfer of raw materials and finished goods from milling and warehouse locations, outbound shipping of flour products to customers and other warehouses/sites, inventory management and control, receiving and storage of shipping/packaging supplies, cycle counts and all related activities.
- Coordinate with Logistics Coordinator on truck loads schedule and promptly advise them as well as the Customer Service department of changes in shipping schedule, if any.
- Manage, direct, and assign tasks to the to the warehouse work team in achieving the most effective and efficient warehousing operation.
- Manage and implement effective strategy on inter-company requests of finished goods from other milling sites to ensure sufficient inventory and safety stock level are maintained.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the inventory by conducting regular and diligent physical counts.
- Manage forklift repair and maintenance and coordinate with vendor on service schedule.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring that correct product and quantity are shipped on schedule and assist the management team in any troubleshooting related to customer complaints as required.
- Ensure that employee training and certifications are achieved and updated.
- Manage the staff to ensure that they are meeting the performance expectation and exercise fair and effective discipline, if necessary, in accordance with the collective agreement and Company policies.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and sanitation throughout the warehouse areas.
- Maintain documents and records in accordance with all relevant quality policies and procedures
- At least two (2) year of previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisory role in food manufacturing environment.
- A college diploma in business, supply chain and logistics, or its equivalent would be an asset.
- Work experience in driving forklift in warehouse or food manufacturing.
- Possess strong communication, both oral and written, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Previous experience with managing inventory and purchasing would be an asset;
- Working knowledge in ERP and Warehouse Management System would be an asset.
