Inventory Control Assistant

**Position Title - Inventory Control Assistant**
**Reports to Inventory Control Manager**
The Inventory Control Assistant is responsible for the execution of all activities within the Inventory Control department.
**Job responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Verification of all inventory (receiving, shipping, production pack outs, repacks and transfers)
- Verification of all inventory balances (produce inventory and dry goods inventory)
- Plan and execute regular inventory counts (daily, weekly, monthly, annually)
- Identification of inventory issues, communicate and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Develop and monitor the inventory control process
- Weekly clearing of inventory reconciling items required for local and marketed grower pays
- Month end counts and annual end counts
- Navigate allocation spreadsheet
- Must be able to travel to and from main warehouse to 60 Industrial when required
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:
- Knowledge of Famous and Excel
- Self
- Motivated
- Basic math skills, ability to count (by 2, 5, 10 etc.)
- Able to work as a team and independently
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Good time management and problem-solving skills
- Able to identify discrepancies
- Able to work in coolers
- Able to work at heights
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
- Forklift training is an asset
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- 44 Hours per week
- Monday
- Fridays, some Sundays are required
- Flexibility to meet the Inventory Department needs
