Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:

- The Strata Property Accountant contributes to the success of the Client Accounting team by preparing monthly financial statements and annual budgets for their assigned Strata Corporations. This includes responding to financial inquiries from Strata Managers and Councils directly.
- The Strata Property Accountant monitors and resolves any accounts payable and accounts receivable issues, and facilitates year-end audits as necessary.
- Duties include financial analysis and reporting, and completing special projects as required
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements, supporting working papers and all ongoing activities (receipts, disbursements) for a portfolio of residential rental buildings
- Review residential lease contract and manage move in/move out accounting process
- Manage cash flow requirements, projecting monthly cash balances, receipts and disbursements
- Assist property managers in preparation of annual budgets
- Provide monthly budget to actual variance analysis
- Review accuracy of accounts payable coding
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Any recurring, accrual and adjusting entries booking
- Ability to be flexible and self-motivated and to take initiative
- Must have comprehensive working knowledge of all aspects of accounts payable, receivables and bank reconciliations;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment where mutual support is essential

**Salary**: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
