**About Us**:
The Network for Business Sustainability is a global non-profit housed at Ivey Business School, focused on advancing sustainable development. We achieve this by integrating academic research with practical experience. We bring research and practice communities together to share knowledge and connect over sustainability topics.

**Responsibilities**:
The Research and Digital Specialist will provide specialized support in the areas of administrative services, research services, infrastructure services, or student services. The incumbent will have responsibility for carrying out activities which require higher level specialization of skills.

About the Role:
You will work directly with the NBS content team to help identify priority research for NBS to amplify. This is a part-time, remote position.

Specifically, you would:

- Review lists of academic articles on business sustainability and sort them by themes.
- Help match these academic articles to priority sustainability topics NBS seeks to cover.
- Refine this content sorting and matching process and systematize it for future years. This may involve engagement with different digital systems for categorizing information (e.g., Excel, Basecamp, Hubspot)

You will work collaboratively with NBS team members on these tasks.
- Qualifications**Education**:
- Must have completed 6 undergraduate terms
- Must be a full time student at Western (enrolled in minimum 3.5 courses), and expect to retain full-time student status for the duration of this appointment

**Experience**:
- Previous directly related experience

- Written and verbal communication skills to express ideas clearly, and adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience
- Ability to maintain a positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation
- Reliable and dependable with the ability to consistently work assigned schedule
- Ability to follow detailed and/or complex processes and practices with high attention to detail
- Demonstrates integrity and works in accordance with Western¿s policies and procedures
- Ability to multi-task and maintain an organized work environment
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and use new software programs as required
- Personable and courteous in working relationships with colleagues, students and the public
- Ability to prioritize and organize a fluctuating work load
- Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve department goals
- Ability to work in a manner that is compliant with confidentiality requirements as applicable
