**About the Role**

We are seeking a professional and dedicated **Financial Analyst** who is passionate about growing the S&T brand through meaningful financial insights to drive action and decision making.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your primary job responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with various aspects of the financial reporting close process, including preparing monthly/quarterly income statements and financial dashboards, preparing supporting analyses and working papers, investigating month-over-month discrepancies and explaining variances between budget to forecast, etc.
- Bookkeeping, including creating invoices and managing payables
- Produce meaningful financial analyses and drawing insights to be used in strategic management decision-making
- Assist with preparing consolidated financial statements for all S&T operating segments
- Assist with redefining financial processes through automation and collaboration with other business groups to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Adherence to company’s existing internal control framework and implementing new audit controls
- Strategic annual budgeting and forecasting
- Ad-hoc projects and financial analyses, as required

**Qualifications**
- 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, and/or other relevant business area
- Degree in accounting or business/commerce, with preference for those working towards, or completed, a relevant industry-recognized certification (e.g. CPA)
- Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and analytical skills with ability to draw insights and convey complex information in a straightforward manner
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities with little direction in a fast-paced environment
- Strong skills using Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Quickbooks would be an asset
- Proven ability to operate effectively in highly pressured roles and environments with ambiguity
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, strong communication skills and personally interested in health and fitness

**Compensation and Perks**
- Base salary starts at $60,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience
