Shift: 12-8:30pm, M-F, occasional weekends

**About Bench Brewing**:
Located in the heart of Niagara’s wine country, our farmhouse brewery is located on the site of the historic Maple Grove Public School in Beamsville, Ontario. Our brewery is a place for our guests to relax, learn, and experience the craft of brewing beer.

The Bench Brewing Campus sits across eight beautiful acres and will feature a 50hL brewing system, a tap and tasting room, a beer garden, a ‘funk house’ for our wild ale and barrel fermentation program, and our very own hops field.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Packaging Manager, the primary role of the Jr. Packaging Operator is to support packaging operations on the afternoon shift.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform all tasks safely
- Operate 3 head keg cleaner and clean kegs as needed
- Fill kegs as required by daily production plan
- Perform shutdown procedures for CFT canning line
- Support set-up of daily activities for packaging hands
- Perform packaging QC checks as required
- Support afternoon receiving of deliveries and put away materials in their proper locations
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently while maintaining quality
- Schedule flexibility: shift work & weekend work required
- Must be able to repeatedly stand, walk, bend, twist, push, pull & reach for duration of the shift
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds (a full 30L keg)
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, and loud environments
- Self-motivated induvial with keen attention to detail
- Mechanically inclined
- High school diploma, post-secondary education in manufacturing/trades/engineering a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
