**About Us**
Halcyon Pizzeria, a cornerstone of Halcyon Café and Wine Bar, is celebrated for its artisanal pizzas and elevated dining experience. Utilizing a state-of-the-art Stefano Ferraro pizza oven, we combine tradition with innovation to craft exceptional dishes. We’re looking for a skilled and visionary Pizzaiolo & Head Chef to lead our kitchen, refine our menu, and inspire our team to deliver outstanding culinary experiences.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and excellence in food preparation and presentation.
- Craft and perfect pizza recipes, from dough fermentation to toppings, using the Stefano Ferraro pizza oven.
- Design and develop menus that highlight seasonal and high-quality ingredients.
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and professionalism.
- Manage inventory, control costs, and ensure efficient sourcing of premium ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen aligned with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with management to create strategies for menu innovation and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor kitchen performance and address challenges proactively.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo and/or Head Chef, with expertise in wood-fired or high-end pizza ovens (experience with Stefano Ferraro ovens is a significant asset).
- Strong culinary skills, with a focus on pizza-making and broader kitchen leadership.
- Experience in menu creation, cost management, and kitchen operations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring others.
- Commitment to quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Food handler certification (required).

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
