Short Term Rental Cleaner and Property Maintenance

Job Description:
**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and reset the property cleanliness to each stay according to Airbnb cleaning standards.
- Maintain the property and make sure it is in good condition for the next guests.
- Report any issues to management and be able to fix minor damages such as scratches on walls, replace light bulbs, and do basic repairs on furniture.
- Restock property supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other necessary items.
- Conduct property inspections before and after each guest stay to ensure the property is in good condition.
- Communicate effectively with management and guests to resolve any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

- At least 1 year of experience in cleaning and property maintenance.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform minor repairs on furniture, electrical fixtures, and appliances.

Examples of tasks for Airbnb cleaning:

- Dusting and cleaning all surfaces, including tables, countertops, and shelves.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the bathroom, including the toilet, shower, sink, and mirrors.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all floors and carpets.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including countertops, sink, stove, refrigerator, and microwave.
- Washing and changing all linens and towels.
- Removing trash and recycling.

Examples of tasks for property maintenance:

- Fixing minor damages such as scratches on walls, and repairing furniture.
- Replacing light bulbs, air filters, and smoke detectors as needed.
- Conducting regular property inspections to ensure everything is in working order.
- Maintaining the outdoor area, such as mowing the lawn, trimming shrubs, and removing debris.
- Coordinating with vendors for repairs that require specialized skills, such as plumbing or electrical work.
- Performing seasonal maintenance tasks, such as winterizing the property or preparing for summer.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 5 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
