Zeebest Plastics of Canada Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our growing team as a Sales Representative in our Saskatoon office.

We are a plastic tank manufacturer, based in Morinville, AB, with an office in Saskatoon, SK. We have been making a large selection of tanks, trays and basins, as well as custom products, for virtually anyone who has need for plastics, for over 30 years.

**About the Opportunity**

The Sales Representative is responsible to achieve sales targets by developing new business and maintaining sales levels with their assigned accounts. They actively prospect new business and manage customer accounts, providing exceptional customer service by contacting customers regularly, listening to customer needs, providing advice on product selection, providing accurate quotes in a timely manner and working with production to ensure timely order completion. This position also carries out various branch activities including purchasing, inventory control and shipping and receiving.
- Responsible for prospecting and cold calling, maintaining consistent customer contact and communication along with aggressive follow up to achieve targeted growth.
- Maintain a positive relationship with all customer accounts, keeping them up to date on new product offerings and effectively managing and resolving any conflicts, warranty and service issues to maximize each account’s annual revenue potential.
- Work with the Director, Business Development and President/CEO to define and develop a plan to achieve key account growth targets, and target recapture accounts.
- Adjust content of sales presentations and potential solutions by tailoring to each client type.
- Prepare and send out quotes and make follow up calls to all customers, answer questions and provide any necessary clarification on quotes and options.
- Close sales to achieve daily/weekly quotas and achieve account specific growth targets.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses and sales forecasts.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy to the President/CEO by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Collaborate with Edmonton branch and local vendors to confirm inventory on hand for orders.
- Coordinate product shipping and receiving and provide customers with updates on product delivery dates.
- Update CRM system daily with customer contact and quote information.
- Actively participate in sales meetings and staff meetings.
- As requested by the President/CEO, attend trade shows, association events, seminars and meetings to promote the company and maintain a high profile for Zeebest in the industry.
- Collaborate with the Controller to ensure accurate invoicing and to resolve customer invoice questions.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive outside sales/account manager experience in the agriculture industry.
- Intermediate level experience using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with industrial product sales is an asset.
- Experience with forklift operation is an asset.
- Experience with SAGE is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
- Customer Service attitude and ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Ability to close sales and regularly meet sales targets.
- Extremely professional with high integrity and a strong work ethic. - Honors confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to demonstrate our products to both small and large groups with marketing tools and manuals.
- Self-motivated with the ability to engage, strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; responsible time management and timely reporting.
- Ability to think and operate both short and long term, be able to hit sales numbers without sacrificing long term goals.
- Strong mechanical/technical aptitude, good with numbers.
- Has an understanding of the agriculture, oil & gas and construction industries with the ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
- Understands pricing and margins.
- Ability to learn and retain large volumes of product information and clearly explain product features to customers.
- Ability to prepare accurate quotes and labour take offs using price sheets and basic math skills.
- Positive attitude with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Education and/or training in sales or related field is preferred.
