Production Scheduler

**Responsibilities**:
- Read and analyze aerospace drawings.
- Plans and prepares production schedules for processing aerospace or commercial products.
- Draws up daily master schedules to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecast or customer orders.
- Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools and human resource requirements.
- Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Prepares production reports, lists of required materials, tools, equipment and determine status of assigned projects.
- May prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools and equipment.
- Creates and administers the schedule for the processing of products, ensure that customer demands are met, and that goods are produced and shipped to buyers in an efficient and timely manner.
**- Knowledge and experience**:
- Technologist or community college graduate with clear understanding of job scheduling and estimating techniques.
- A bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or in a related engineering discipline, such as mechanical engineering, is preferred.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in industrial planning or other project coordination.
- Solid foundation of resources planning with focus on manufacturing/processing sequences scheduling based on a specific computer literacy (MRP, ERP).
- Knowledge of aerospace specification, preferred.
- Computer literacy (MRP,ERP,EXCEL,WORD).
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
