B&B Contracting Group is currently seeking a dedicated **Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk **to join our growing company.

The Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk at B&B Contracting Group is responsible for managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate financial processing, and supporting the financial operations of the company. They also play a supporting role in managing various accounting tasks and assisting with general administrative duties. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Job duties include but are not limited to:_
- Reconcile monthly supplier statements with invoices and manage vendor records, including adding new vendors and updating existing ones.
- Process accounts payable (AP) payment runs, including EFTs, wire transfers, and cheques, and ensure accurate entry of PO-related AP invoices into the ERP system.
- Manage accounts receivable (AR), generate and issue invoices, and handle invoicing for standard orders, service jobs, and deposits.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including performing reconciliations, and processing accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform additional administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Provide relief support for reception duties, including answering and routing phone calls, managing incoming mail, and monitoring office supplies.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
