**Project Coordinator**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaise with various agencies and organizations to create a pathway to support the mental health and wellbeing of clients.
- Work in partnership with mental health clinicians and benefit navigators to support the needs of clients.
- Participate and assist in compiling information, preparing spreadsheets, and analyzing data for special projects; data entry.
- Perform general office support work, coordinate meetings, faxing, photocopying and researching requested information.
- Maintain and update information on a daily basis.
- Independently compose correspondence with minimum direction.
- Assist the Clinic Manager to maintain and revise all reports, files and resources.
- Provide back up for team members to clients for mental health related needs.
- Answer and transfer telephone inquiries
- Ensure office is opened and closed daily, as per established schedules
- Provide reception duties at the front counter of the office such as greeting clients
- Use a scheduling software system to book appointments and check in clients
- Sort and distribute mail and other deliveries
- Obtain financial and insurance information
- Stock office supplies
- Tidy up reception area
- Organize client records

**Education and Experience**
- Certificate or Diploma in a Business Administration program with 2-3 years' relevant experience, preferably in a health related administrative support role (or equivalent combination of training and experience)
- Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with confidential, sensitive information
- Experience working in the mental health field is highly preferred
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Superior organization skills and dedication to completing tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in escalating situations but maintain a calm and firm stand on policies and procedures
- Applicants must have a background in military or experience working with military personnel.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills working in an interdisciplinary team; must be flexible, organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
- Applicant should be familiar with mental health settings.
- Awareness/knowledge of agencies and organizations serving Veterans and military personnel in Nova Scotia is an asset.
