**Job Title: Event Coordinator - Part Time**
**Department: Administration**
**Reporting To: Executive Director**
The Event Coordinator works with guests to produce events from conception through to completion for both Golf and Restaurant needs. Event Coordinator responsibilities include providing outstanding guest service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.
**Responsibilities**
- Communicate in a timely manner to all potential clients or guests with clear communication of next steps and follow-up timelines;
- Liaise with clients/guests to identify their needs for Golf, Shuttle, and/or Restaurant requests by completing BEO documentation, including quotes and pricing and properly communicating to the appropriate management teams;
- Finalize invoicing and billing for all events including collecting payment;
- Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality;
- Organize facilities and manage all event details such as decor, menu creation, tee-times, entertainment, transportation, invitee list, special guests, and equipment;
- Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities;
- Liaise with Department Heads of the Restaurant, Kitchen, Golf & Turf to produce a seamless event including attending weekly meetings and continuous communication;
- Ensure that Department Heads have proper staff coverage and supplies to run upcoming event effectively;
- Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day;
- Conduct pre
- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes;
- Proactively create “mini events” to create revenue during the off-season such as special events in the restaurant, walking trails and outdoor activities;
- Working with Manager, Marketing & Admin to develop social media postings, and marketing documents around events;
- Other Duties as assigned
**Requirements and skills**
- Previously experience managed events (weddings, meetings, parties, corporate events)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Sales skills and ability to build productive business relationships
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Knowledge of golf seen as an asset

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Zurich, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
