Detailed Overview:
**Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families**:
The coordinator / analyst is responsible for supporting program leadership in surgical services by providing coordination of clerical staff, auditing of booking practices and processes and facilitating effective communication and interface with physician offices / MOAs in relationship to patients on the HA waitlist.

Oversees the operational supervision and coordination of Operating Room Booking Clerks and Pre-Admission Clinic (PAC). Schedules and coordinates work assignments, including new projects/initiatives; determines and evaluates staff training requirements; conducts staff evaluations; develops, coordinates and implements training and orientation for staff and user departments. Assists the Manager in selection of staff by participating in interviews, providing input and making recommendations.

Collaborates with the Manager, OR front-line staff and physician offices in the conduct of audits related to OR Booking and Pre-Admission Clinic scheduling system effectiveness. Analyzes and evaluates findings; develops recommendations on system/process improvements to ensure data quality and compliance with MOH standards and requirements and alignment to MoH priorities and regional surgical initiatives.

Provides information related to data quality and operational requirements to user departments and other areas. Assists Manager in the development and implementation of PAC, OR Booking & Scheduling standards, policies and processes; assists in development and implementation of Change Management processes; Supports surgical leadership with OR expansion and augment strategies. Conducts projects as assigned.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversees the coordination, work direction and supervision of OR Booking staff and PAC. Schedules and coordinates work assignments, special projects or initiatives; evaluates employee performance and determines training and orientation requirements.
- Evaluates clerical staff development needs and develops, implements and coordinates staff and user training and orientation programs related to OR Booking/Scheduling systems and processes. Assesses and evaluates training needs; develops curriculum and training materials; conducts training to clerical staff in OR Booking and PAC.
- Conducts audits related to booking and scheduling information, data quality and system processes/practices. Analyzes and evaluates audit findings; develops recommendations to Manager on data quality and system process improvements.
- Audits work of OR Booking and PAC clerical staff related to system data input for waitlisting and scheduling in ORM (Operating Room Module) and CWS (Community Wide Scheduling).
- Develops and generates information reports related to OR user depts and/or MOH requirements. Gathers and operationalizes data from SIS related priorities for increased OR capacity and efficiency.
