We are looking for a **Team Leader** to join our dynamic team in Burlington. As a Splitsville **Team Leader**, you will assist the managers in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. As a team lead, you will deploy the team and delegate tasks to create the Splitsville experience for our guests by providing WOW experiences and maintaining a clean and comfortable centre environment. You will be responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with Splitsville core values and best of all, you’ll be part of a company that is consistently rated as a great place to work and the people here love what they do.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide friendly and exceptional guest service (S-10, G-5)
- Motivate and Coach team members
- Lead team and direct all daily operations of the centre in the absence of management, including supervising and training of team members, opening and closing the centre, managing team breaks and shift changes, and completing shift summary reports
- Attend all management meetings, team meetings and training opportunities
- Help control labour and ensure proper staffing levels on each shift
- Develop and assign tasks to team members, oversees completion
- Provide recognition and constructive feedback throughout the shifts as appropriate
- Ensure the centre is up to Splitsville standards with regards to cleanliness, and guest WOW experiences
- Complete all Splitsville systems and checklists
- Provide resolutions to guest and team member issues, rectify all guest concerns
- Communicate with other shift leaders and managers
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including all health and safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1-3 years in a retail or restaurant setting
- Friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, positive attitude
- Ability to multitask; stays calm under pressure
- Team player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently bases on company policies and practices
- Experience with organizing and assigning shift tasks and holding team members accountable for completion
- Flexible schedule (available days, nights, weekends, holidays)
