SUMMARY:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understands and clearly communicates target consumer insight, attitudes, beliefs
- Understands brand equity and positioning relative to competitive set & applies insights and understanding to new product plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop business cases for new innovation ideas and charter new projects within the organization
- Write exceptional product briefs in collaboration with R&D
- Act as key innovation touchpoint and project lead through the development & commercialization of innovation projects.
- Able to translate trends & insights into actionable recommendations for product solutions
- Frequently communicates opportunities and risks to all areas of organization
- Very strong business communications skills, ability to influence and detail orientation
- Exhibit leadership and accountability; exhibit the ability to move a team towards a common goal through a respectful, collaborative approach

What Will Make You Successful in This Role:

- Minimum 1.5 Years experience as an Assistant Brand Manager on a nationally-listed Brand, preferably in the food industry
- A natural leader who is self-driven and adaptable, with a can-do attitude
- Excellent written communication skills; you can succinctly & accurately capture a consumer insight or new product idea in 1 sentence.
- Experienced leading new commercial product launches, meeting launch milestones and KPIs
- P&L experience a must
- Strong influencer and skillful collaborator among peers
- Proficient in data analysis and use of Microsoft Excel. Experience with IRI, Nielsen, or SPINS
