**Environment**
- Establish and maintain a culture of learning, professional growth, trauma-informed practice, cultural relevance and overall focus on healing and treatment for persons served

**Administration**
- Adherence to the high standards of accreditation expected of a high-quality treatment facility and ensure positive relationships with all licensing bodies.
- Develop and update policies and procedures for effective governance and meeting contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Policy and Procedures are followed in the organization
- Ensure contractual and licensing obligations of the organization are met
- Lead Service Team meetings
- Integrate the overall philosophy of care and treatment into the daily practice in all Nightwind programs
- Provide intake services to ensure appropriate referrals to the program.

**Human Resources**
- Implement effective conflict prevention and resolution procedures
- Support the organization with effective human resources processes
- Support the Service Team concerning grievance, disciplinary and investigation processes
- Develop and supervise an effective system for training and developing staff and their skills
- Supervise and promote best practices within the Service Team

**Finance**
- Ensure effective systems for invoicing services and maximize per diem revenue
- Supervise finance services

**Strategic Planning**
- Develop Strategic Plan in collaboration with the Service Team
- Ensure systems are in place to monitor goals and targets associated with the Strategic Plan

**Quality Improvement**
- Develop a Quality Improvement Plan with feedback from the Service Team
- Complete the Annual Performance Review and share it with shareholders
- Ensure effective quality improvement activities are part of the culture of the organization

**Risk Management & Safety**
- Develop a Risk Management Plan in collaboration with the Service Team
- Ensure risk management process and response is in place to prevent and effectively respond to risks within the organization
- Develop an effective compliance process for all safety procedures and ensure compliance with these procedures
- Ensure all critical incidents are competed, tracked and reported appropriately
- Provide direct support to programs for challenging situations

**Communications**
- Promote positivity and hopefulness among persons served, colleagues, stakeholders, and members of the public.
- Consult with advisor and serve as the lead in crisis communications
- Establish relationships with Child and Family Services, DFNA’s and other referral sources to build confidence and promote our program
- Serve as the lead for intakes and is accountable for the occupancy rates
- Ensure systems are in place to promote services appropriately
- Support the Service Team in developing effective internal communication processes
- Maintain confidentiality and abide by the Oath of Confidentiality, NWTC Code of Conduct and the Child and Youth Care Association Ethical guidelines

**Reporting**
- Report regularly on the successes and challenges of the organization
- Develop systems for effective reporting of organizational outcomes to licensing and the community

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge and experience with Indigenous culture
- Experience working with indigenous children and youth in care is essential
- At least 3 years of experience managing a business
- At least a Bachelor’ degree in Human Services is required, with a preference provided to those with completed graduate studies
- At least 3 years of leadership experience is required
