**JOB TEXT**:
Full time term position for Content Development - EAL(English Additional Language) from February 13, 2023 to June 23, 2023.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Experience in designing engaging multimedia lessons
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working with digital tools to design digital content
- Experience with Universal Design for Learning
- Understanding of effective range of TESL teaching and evaluation and assessment methods, strategies, and skills teaching practices in the E-learning environment
- The ability to plan and implement effective and responsive teaching and learning practices for remote learners
- The ability to create and maintain effective working relationships
- The ability to engage professionally and collaboratively with colleagues regardless of their physical location
- Pedagogical and practical knowledge of teaching English as a second/additional language, including theory, learning strategies, stages of language development, individual differences, and language structure
- Culturally and linguistically responsive teaching methods including the planning and implementation of effective and responsive teaching and learning practices
- Knowledge of trauma-informed teaching practices will be considered an asset

**EDUCATION REQUIRED**:
Bachelor of Education

Appropriate Training Methods

Major Required: Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL).
