**Job Title: Operations and Logistics Coordinator**
**Company Overview**

Through years of R&D and acquisitions, Ecolo proudly offers the industry’s most comprehensive line of proprietary formulations and odor control systems. The ISO-certified facility produces solutions such as air atomization, waterless vapor, and biochemical additives that eliminate odors at their source. In addition, Ecolo engineers distinct pieces of equipment in its recently expanded warehouse in Toronto, including pneumatic delivery systems, vapor delivery systems, and portable oscillating vapor cannons, developed exclusively for commercial, industrial and municipal odor control.
**Responsibilities**
**SHIPPING, OPERATIONS & COORDINATION**
- Coordination of inbound and outbound logistics with a focus on shipping of finished product, maintaining database and follow up of all shipped products
- Coordination of shipping, tracking of all shipments, freight forwarding contracts and familiar with international shipping
- Responsible for arranging the movement of product to its final destination point, preparing and processing the documents required for international freight forwarding and providing sign-off
- Use historical, forecasted, and actual sales and order volumes to plan production volumes; reporting those planned and scheduled volumes to management
- Create and implement a comprehensive and practical plan in handling the production and storage of dangerous goods
- Excellent knowledge of transportation of dangerous goods (TDG), and training in TDG
- Oversee chemical and product inventories to meet customers' expectations
- Coordinate and assist the production team, when required, including ordering of supplies, labeling or other tasks as required
- Conduct regular cost-saving shipping analysis and implementation
- Collaborate among warehouse and production team and third-party trucking companies to ensure smooth operations
- Responsible for the timely and satisfactory order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, including coordination of activities with the production, inventory, storage and shipping
- Inventory control: actively organize, monitor, and participate in the cycle inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy & successful year-end audits
- Work closely with Research & Development, Finance, Purchasing, and other departments to maintain high standards of Quality control and Customer Satisfaction
- Develop preventative maintenance plans and document processes for each area in the department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
**ADMINISTRATION AND OPERATIONS SUPPORT**
- Assist with the development of operations and administrative protocols, including health and safety, environmental, and quality policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist Sales department with quotes, and manage all accounts receivable
- Performs other related duties as assigned
**CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP BUILDING & QUALITY CONTROL**
- Build quality controls and strong relations with customers, with a view to continuous improvement
- Review process and operations to ensure customer-centric focus from all team members
**Qualifications**
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a logistics, or shipping/receiving and operations role
- Minimum of Secondary school diploma and College/University diploma or degree an asset
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Excellent customer relationship building
- Raymond Reach/Forklift operating and basic battery maintenance
- Power walkie and pump truck operating
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certified (Ground and Ocean)
**Competencies and Skills**
- Coordination and planning: The ability to plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Compliance knowledge on environmental, fire, and health and safety regulations is an asset
- Attention to detail and organization skills to track shipments and monitor inventory levels
- Strong Peer relationships: Can solve problems with peers and is seen as a team player who easily gains trust and support and encourages collaboration; excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Customer focus: Establishes and maintains customer focus mindset
- Adaptability: The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
**Job type: Permanent Full-time**
**Pay: $43,000 to $48,000**
