We seek a qualified part-time teaching faculty member to join the School of Education and Leadership Master of Education Program to teach the course below.

**Course Summary**:
**EGC 530 Individual Counselling Theory and Practice**

Part-time Teaching Faculty at City University of Seattle has **three key responsibilities**:

- Striving for excellence in teaching and learning,
- Fostering student development, and
- Maintaining currency in their profession.

**Requirements**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. - Minimum of 5 years experience in the K-12 school system.
- Teaching experience desired.
- Skills in addressing student academic-related issues and concerns in support of retention and student success.
- Culturally competent to serve a diverse student and faculty body.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented system and deal effectively with professional staff, faculty, and culturally diverse students.
- Ability to present a professional image for the school and City University of Seattle.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and learning management systems in support of quality teaching and learning.

**Salary Information**:
The Part-time Teaching Faculty salary is based on course level and the number of course credits.
