**BUSINESS PLANNER**:
$72,479.17 - $83,518.06 Annually

Reporting to the Supervisor, Project Delivery, the Business Planner collaborates on the management of projects within Operational Services including resource allocation and execution. The position is accountable for assigned business improvement projects from inception to completion and facilitates project meetings across Operations and cross-functional teams. He/she/they support the Supervisor in developing strategies to manage organizational changes effectively and assists in preparation of reports for Operational and Executive leadership, Board of Directors on branch project planning, scope, delivery, and KPIs.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field with course emphasis in business planning, program/process development.
- Sound experience in project management, process development, operational data analysis and reporting.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the Employer.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Sound knowledge and understanding of the philosophies, principles and practices of business planning and program/process development and implementation.
- Ability to learn and understand the Commission’s mandate, programs, operating requirements, and strategic objectives.
- Ability to assess requirements, think conceptually and support the development and implementation of effective business and program plans and strategies to achieve key priorities and objectives.
- Ability to coordinate assignments and projects involving consultation with staff and external groups, meet deadlines and identify key milestones or measures of success.
- Ability to establish a high level of rapport with senior managers, staff, and external partners in order to accomplish objectives.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to present information clearly and concisely
