Projects Manager and Major Events

**Summary**
**Events section**
- Plan and coordinate the company’s major events, including the Holiday Celebration, the President’s Dinner, the Back-to-School BBQ, management meetings, sales events (conventions, symposiums), as well as special events and sponsorship events;
- Manage the events budget and provide follow-ups with management;
- Support the planning of in-house events and initiatives.
**Project management and communication section**
- Implement special projects in collaboration with various departments and committees (e.g., special celebrations, management of museum space and archives);
- Provide support to the Human Resources Department and to the Vice-President, Public Affairs and Chief Sustainability Officer, in the conception and execution of special projects (research and writing);
- Coordinate the design and distribution of event-related newsletters;
- Participate in the creation of social media posts related to events or sponsorship activation;
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to the protection of personal information;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Academic Training**
- University degree in communications or any other combination of relevant training and experience.
**Experience**
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar role;
**Skills and Competencies Required**
- Bilingualism, English and French, to support our French-speaking and unilingual English-speaking clients.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of spoken and written French;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);
- Have knowledge of the digital world and social networks;
- Have knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and MailChimp (an asset);
- Excellent organizational and logístical skills;
- Show proven communication and analytical skills;
- Manage priorities, stress, and occasional short deadlines;
- Have excellent customer service skills;
- Maintain a courteous, discreet and thorough approach;
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and openness to change;
- Take a proactive attitude and enjoy teamwork.
