**What you'll do**

The Internal Audit Analyst Student role provides additional support to IAS to help achieve the audit plan for the year. The incumbent will be involved in audit engagements across the enterprise, providing them the opportunity to understand how the business works within Canadian Tire, including but not limited to Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, Store Operations and Finance.
- Work with the Auditor-in-charge to complete assigned accountabilities
- Identify, document and assess key business process related risks and controls including compilation of flowcharts and/or narratives
- Perform audit tests/procedures using data analytics to assess key controls in terms of both adequacy of design and effectiveness of operation
- Report risk/control gaps in the process that may impact a business from achieving its objectives.

**What you bring**
- Working towards a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- Interest in/working towards an accounting designation an asset
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Good problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
- A strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of MS Visio and Access would be a strong asset
