Richmond Hill, Canada Lullaboo Nursery and Childcare Center Full time

**Event Coordinator (contract position)**

Lullaboo Nursery and Childcare Centers, a family owned and operated childcare organization with 16 locations and over 550 employees across the GTA requires an Event Coordinator (Contract) to join their team. Events will include company functions, community events supporting childcare and industry events promoting the advancement of the childcare profession.

This is a 6-month contract position with the opportunity of being extended.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organizing event logistics including registration, communications, speaker management, technical support, catering, graphic design, and customer service;
- Obtaining quotations, hiring and managing reliable subcontractors for events, including venues, hotels, caterers, cultural performers, Elders, and technicians;
- Communicating with other staff and contractors to ensure that deliverables for the events are provided in a coordinated manner;
- Helping projects stay within budgets and meet deliverables in workplans; and
- Performing other administrative duties as required.

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

**Education**:
