**Summary**

Simply Solventless Concentrates Ltd. (SSC) is hiring an experienced cannabis Supply Chain Manager to support the manufacture of solventless cannabis extracts. This position is located close to Calgary, Alberta, 10 minutes west of Airdrie.

The Supply Chain Manager will report to the General Manager and lead the supply chain team including purchasing, inventory management, warehouse and logistics functions. This is an integral role for Simply Solventless’ manufacturing operation in ensuring compliance with both standards for Health Canada and the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures (“SOPs”).

The Supply Chain Manager brings to SSC a proven track record of setting and meeting ambitious goals.

**Reports to**: General Manager

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and grow a team of supply chain personnel including: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Warehouse and Logistics functions to deliver on Simply Solventless’ manufacturing and business objectives.
- Partner with Quality Assurance team to lead the development and maintenance of all Supply Chain, Inventory Management and Shipping and Receiving SOP’s as well as any applicable facility SOP’s.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality and Corporate teams to ensure all items needed to support ongoing manufacturing operations are acquired in a timely fashion from approved suppliers, tracked until receipt and arrive with required quality related documentation.
- Develop relationships with key SSC Suppliers, identify new business partners and negotiate raw material supply agreements.
- Maintain an accurate electronic inventory management system that reflects the physical inventory of both cannabis and non-cannabis items, including setup of new vendors and item masters in electronic system.
- Review and approval of receipts and invoices to support Accounts Payable function.
- Manage Supply Chain activities related to 3rd Party service providers as needed.
- Develop appropriate Supply Chain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assist with managing the performance of the supply chain function.
- Other duties as required.

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in a related field - Business, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology
- 5 to 10 Years of supply chain experience in a Manufacturing or Production facility.
- 2 to 5 Years in a leadership position within a Manufacturing or Production facility.
- Prior experience in the cannabis industry, food and beverage industry or other industries where Good Production Practices (GPP) or Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed is preferred.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Prior ERP experience, including deployment of EPR is an asset.
- Interest in building a career in the cannabis industry.
- Must be able to work in the facility located 10 minutes west of Airdrie.
- Has own transportation, or a reliable carpool.
- Availability to participate in rotating On-Call program for security and emergency response at the facility.

**Other Requirements**
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
- Gets along well in a team atmosphere and able to work independently when required.
- Ability to multitask and swiftly switch between tasks.
- Excels in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to obtain a Health Canada Security Clearance is required for this role.
- Available to work overtime when required.
