Document & Trial Program Specialist

**A taste of the Job
- Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for R&D projects, including SOPs, raw material specifications, finished goods specifications, formula management in our systems, supporting customer portal documentation requirements, and audits. Set up plant trials for R&D projects, including scheduling, preparation, billing, execution, and data collection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of plant trials and accurate documentation of trial results.
- Assess and refine plant trial processes with the goal of establishing best practices for trial protocols and documentation practices; you will be creating and developing our trial program.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project timelines, goals, and objectives to support effective decision-making.
- Provide audit support by ensuring documentation is in compliance with standards and assisting during audits as needed.
**Path to success-Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field, such as biology, chemistry, or food science.
- Project Management experience and trial experience (preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience in a research or development environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with plant trial protocols and documentation practices is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality standards is required.
**Compensation and Benefits**
- The pay range for this position is $64,000- $88,000 annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
