Position: Office Manager

Location: Ottawa

Elia Associates PC provides a full range of Post-Development Condominium Law services to condominium corporations throughout Ontario. We see ourselves as unique in terms of the level of service we provide to our clients, our volunteerism within the condominium community locally and at a national level, and internally in creating a nurturing environment and having put together a team of extraordinarily talented lawyers, clerks and support staff.

We are seeking an exceptional individual with knowledge of marketing to join our team in Centertown Ottawa. We see this new addition as providing a fresh perspective and personality to our brand and message as we strive to reach a wider audience across Ontario, while also taking on the day-to-day operation of our Ottawa office. **Administration**:

- Property management; managing staff, tenants/leases and organizing building maintenance, supplies, etc.
- Conference and event organization
- Procuring merchandise for Elia Associates and sister company needs
- Updating and circulating material for educational courses and events
- Tracking and managing sponsorship packages with industry partners
- Assist in coordination and creation of monthly webinar series and newsletter
- Uploading and managing website content

**Supporting Roles**:

- Copying / binding / delivery arrangement
- Running cheques to the bank
- Some reception duties
- Tech communication support: Working with third-party tech companies to assist with the firm’s tech needs (phone, IT technology, internet) on a regular basis.
- Providing basic administrative overflow support to other lawyers and clerks within the firm

**Key Skills**:

- Experience using MailChimp,Canva, Hootsuite, and Adobe create & other content creating software
- Experience with Asana
- Experience with google-analytics and creating google ads
- Video-making experience, previously used Movavi would be an asset
- Attention to detail
- Computer skills (knowledge of Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Effective in all things Zoom and experience with virtual webinars.
- Typing (50+ WPM minimum)
- Computer skills (knowledge of Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Communication - written and oral [English only; however, French would be considered an asset]
- Spelling and Grammar (competent proof-reader/document drafter) [English
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work as a team or independently, follow instructions and take responsibility for work assigned
- Organization

Starting Salary: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
(9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break)

Experience: 2+ years of office management experience considered an asset

Education: Bachelor's Degree

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
