**Digital Marketing Lead**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The **consultant is expected to start ASAP **and the **contract length is 2 years.**

**Project Context**

The DHI delivers provincial digital health strategies and business transformations by focusing

on the end user and the end-to-end health services journey for everyone in British Columbia.

We concentrate on the design and delivery of digital health tools and platforms to support the ongoing evolution of a connected health system and digitally enabled health care. By collaborating with all provincial health sector partners, we ensure an equitable approach to addressing health sector priorities. While we spur innovation and change through strategic architecture for technology, it is never just about the technology, but about solving the problem.

**Service Required**
- Work collaboratively with members of DHI and PHSA Communication Teams to plan, develop, and execute strategic communication strategies and tactical plans to support product design, stakeholder engagement, and deployment of DHI products and services.
- Provide oversight and guidance to a Marketing Specialist, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and campaign goals
- Coordinate the planning, production, presentation, and distribution of engagingcommunication materials such as newsletters, presentations, and website content
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to build awareness, alignment, and support for DHI products and services
- Support the planning and facilitation of workshops, meetings, presentations, and community events as required
- Manage stakeholder feedback and ensure timely and appropriate responses
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies related to project communication and incorporate them into project activities and tactics as needed
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance engagement and drive awareness for the campaign Lead the development of engaging content for various formats (e.g., blogs, newsletters, social media posts, etc.) to promote campaign initiatives
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Foster and manage relationships with stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support for marketing initiatives
- Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, performance metrics, and campaign outcomes for senior management
- Other duties as required

**Consultant Qualifications**
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, supplemented with seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience, including leadership roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and communication plans in complex multi-stakeholder environments or IT implementation projects
- Working knowledge of BC’s healthcare systems, clinical services, information technology, and practice contexts
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt key messaging and tactics to engage a diverse range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adjust as necessary
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and proactively address marketing and communication challenges
- Ability to adapt and respond to changing project needs and priorities
- Experience working in BC Health Authorities considered an asset
- Knowledge of OceanMD and EMR systems considered a strong asset
- Experience working within BC healthcare systems / Health Authorities
- Familiarity with eReferral systems

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: Up to $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
