We are currently looking for a Mortgage Assistant to join our established and successful team. Reporting to Mortgage Agent Daniel Finkelberg and Max Rafael, successful Mortgage Agents. The Mortgage Assistant is responsible for assisting Daniel & Max with the day-to-day requirements of managing and monitoring the mortgage process such as completing mortgage documents, proofreading, and submitting paperwork, as well as providing customer service support to mortgage clients such as collecting information and responding to enquiries (when either Daniel or Max is unable to). We are looking for a go-getter who has a strong desire to learn and grow with our business and who brings a can-do attitude to our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Support the administration of all client transactions in alignment/compliance with brokerages policies, administrative and regulatory requirements.
- Verify supporting documentation (e.g., employment, down payment, appraisal, financial documents received).
- Accurately prepare all necessary brokerage and compliance documents, private lending documents, using Velocity, by accurately inputting information.
- Give full disclosure to clients and assess disclosure needs for each individual transaction then forwarding all documents to client for execution; tracking documents and returned documents.
- Work professionally with strong interpersonal skills with the team, the client, and lender/investor during transactions.
- Produce information by accurately transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text and data.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks.
- Identify administrative problems and suggest change, provide professional customer services, perform other related duties as required during working hours. Experience and other requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant or Administrator preferred, preferably in the Financial or Mortgage administration. **Post-secondary diploma in a related discipline is strongly preferred.**:

- Must be very detail oriented, well organized, process driven, and have excellent proofreading skills.
- Experience using DocuSign preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to learn software/systems quickly and manage / take responsibility for day-to-day use of them.
- Excellent English skills are required, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain a mortgage agent/broker license, Errors & Omissions Insurance, and professional designations.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
