**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this exciting role, you will:

- Provide project management coordination and support by tracking project plans/schedules, project status reports, budgets and issues
- Coordinate the flow of incoming/outgoing information requests and correspondence
- Provide advice and assist with the preparation of project products
- Maintain the project budget and prepare for approval, ensuring projections support business planning initiatives
- Provide quality assurance/control function for the project and team
- Prepare briefing notes, memos, and various correspondence

**How do I qualify?**:
**Project Coordination Skills**: You have planning, coordination and organizational skills to:

- determine work priorities and coordinate a variety of concurrent activities
- coordinate information request responses within tight pre-established timelines
- liaise between project team, and working groups, partners and stakeholders for effective workflow and communications
- respond to external inquiries and deal with sensitive issues and material of a high profile project

**Research, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: You can:

- conduct research and gather information
- prepare options and recommendations for improvements
- prepare a variety of administrative and financial reports for management
- respond to external inquiries and deal with sensitive issues and material related to the project
- resolve issues/problems related to development/routing/approval of project materials

**Communication Skills**: You can:

- prepare/maintain project plans and schedules, presentations, spreadsheets, tracking databases and briefing materials, memos, correspondence
- advise of requested and required changes to draft documents, including content and format and time line requirements
- prepare project products (e.g. presentations, consultation documents, procurement documents)
- assist with the development of objectives, terms of reference and sourcing
- review materials for compliance with the Ontario Public Service

**Specialized Knowledge**: You have sound knowledge of:

- government administrative policies and procedures related to correspondence flow and control, procurement, file management etc.
- budgeting, financial management policies and reporting to track and monitor expenditures and identify financial issues
- You are familiar with relevant legislation e.g. Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA)

**Computer Skills**: You have:

- strong keyboarding skills with accuracy and attention to detail
