Project Coordinator/assistant Project Manager

**Job Type**: Full Time, Fixed-Term Contract 13 months

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and efficient assistant project manager to join our team. In this role, you will work with the project manager to plan, coordinate, execute day-to-day operations, and finalize projects according to the schedule while keeping within budget.

Responsibilities for Assistant Project Manager:

- Assist the Project Manager in the execution of projects from inception to completion
- Carry out daily operational and administrative tasks in an effective and timely manner
- Oversee variable aspects of projects, provide assistance to ensure timely execution
- Create reports on project progress and submitting them to Project Managers
- Review project implementation and gather data on project execution
- Liaise with project lead and stakeholders to maintain project schedule and efficacy
- Consult with and gather information from technicians, engineers, contractors, etc.
- Ensure project adheres to a set schedule and is meeting the goals of the client
- Create reports on project progress and submitting them to Project Managers
- Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals
- Facilitate communications between stakeholders (office and field staff, clients)
- Review project designs and contribute ideas for cutting costs
- Track and directly report project status updates to project manager
- Help problem-solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project
- Organize, file, and maintain all project documents the digital project databases
- Assist in ensuring compliance with necessary specifications
- Help create, manage, and maintain the project budget
- Help create and adhere to project timeline and calendar
- Schedule meetings, phone calls, site visits, deliveries, etc.
- Identify problems and offer efficient solutions
- Research information that may help leverage project development
- Analyze data collected during, and for, the project
- Assist in the strategic planning phase of upcoming projects
- Maintain positive vendor and client relationships

Qualifications for Assistant Project Manager:

- Diploma such as an accredited college program or trades school
- Additional certificate such as PMP, construction, or other applicable training
- 2-5 years of experience in project coordination and/or project management
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite and other management software (e.g. Yardi)
- Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution
- Ability to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution
- Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools
- Ability to generate and deliver reports providing useful insight into project details
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 13 months

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
