- Have solid tenure working as a Parts Consultant in a dealership environment.
- Are looking for full time work and are not returning to school in September.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain all systems, scheduling and procedures in the Parts Department, as per Parts Manager
- Maintain high profitability in all areas and keep all departmental expenses under strict control
- Maintain a high customer satisfaction percentage rating at all times
- Maintain inventory control including purchasing, selling, and stocking, pricing and counting parts
- Maintain proper and legal practices in receipting, costing, and selling
- Maintain and track marketing, merchandising and promotional programs
- Track and prepare regular and thorough obsolescence and core returns
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to maintain accuracy
- Ensure that aged inventory levels remain very low
- Understand and comply with all manufacturer warranty ordering and return policies
- Interact with Service Department and Collision Centre to ensure smooth delivery of parts
- Maintain organized paperwork, documentation and invoices for Fixed Operations Manager and Accounting

**Tasks Related to Sales**
- Efficiently help customers choose parts and provide internal and external customers with quality service
- Provide customers with information about accessory parts and specials
- Answer incoming telephone calls; indicate prices and provide other information; adopt a strategy focusing on selling parts and/or arranging appointments
- Solicit regular customers by telephone
- Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
- Charge-out and sell parts
- Participate in the annual physical inventory count process

**Tasks Related to Administrative Follow-up**
- Follow-up and verify invoicing, customer accounts, claims and credits, to ensure accuracy
- Ensure that all parts are correctly labelled, so that the dealer can receive all the credits from the manufacturer
- Ensure that credit is granted for returned parts
- Follow-up on parts to be replaced (under warranty) and parts to be returned, based on the manufacturer’s requirements
- Manage shipping and receiving activities, to ensure that processing takes place in a timely manner
- Receive orders from all vendors and input into Dealership Management System (DMS)
- Assist in maintaining a high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) percentage rating in conjunction with the Service Department at all times
- Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions
