Commissionaires is the leading supplier of security services for the federal government. From access control and front desk security to 24/7 control room operations, we provide high-level security services to our federal clients.
**We are recruiting for a Regional Security Supervisor to work Monday to Friday at the Federal Courts (CAS) site in downtown Vancouver**

- Physically fit and assertive, including the ability to conduct extensive foot patrols
- Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills
**Some of the responsibilities include**:
- Ensure team maintains an exceptional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
- Maintain an impeccable level of service and professionalism on this high-profile site
- Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy
- Assisting with set-up of courtroom proceedings and assist staff as required
- Supervising staff conducting x-ray screening of visitor personal belongings
- Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments
- Liaise with all Commissionaires CAS site leads across Canada
- Monitor and maintain all staff training and certification in lines with site regulations
- Ensure compliance of all equipment per site requirements across all regions
- Coordinate all new staff training with CAS client
- Update and maintain site security policies and procedures
- Team leadership, addressing any staff performance issues
- Act as point of contact in event of any emergencies on-site and regionally
- Providing accurate reporting to both Commissionaires and client
- Consult and plan any offsite hearings with the client, including short term coverage
- Provide accurate invoicing and billing to the client
- Ability to step into other Commissionaires roles across the site
**Your Must-Haves**
- Basic Security License with Advanced Security training(AST)
- Ability to pass Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE)
- Residing in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes
- OFA 1 Certificate
- Proven supervisory experience
- Previous x-ray screening experience would be advantageous
In accordance with our mandate, preference will be given to those who have previously served in the Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP, fire or ambulance service
