**What you’ll be doing**:
In your Junior Estimator role, you will work with our outside salespeople to deliver prompt, accurate quotations. We’re looking for a highly organized and conscientious individual to contribute to the success of our winning team.
- Reviewing tender forms and specifications
- Review mechanical construction drawings and provide accurate takeoffs
- Confirm O’Dell product conformance with project documentation to ensure valid bids can be provided.
- Produce equipment bill of materials
- Prepare timely pricing for all ventilation products for review by sales team members
- Liaise with manufacturers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing
- Generate quotations with internal CRM & ERP software
- Communicate with team members regarding new and current projects
- Establish and maintain working relationships with sales team and external vendors
- Prepare submittal packages for ventilation equipment on awarded projects.
**Who you are**:
- College graduate from a Mechanical or Architectural Technology Program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work well both independently and within a team environment across multiple office locations.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid passport and drivers license for travel within Canada and USA for training at manufacturers’ facilities
- Experience in the construction industry (i.e. engineering sales, contracting) is not required, but is considered an asset.
- Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
