**Purpose**:
In this role the incumbent contributes to the commercial capabilities team’s strategy to achieve growth that will strengthen the business, enable intelligent innovation, and deliver profits that sustain the Gay Lea Foods Co-operative model.
As a key contributor by creating Go to Market strategies to executional excellence you develop strategies to drive simplification, innovation, and growth with KPI’s focused on Market Share, Net Sales, and Margin. You will steward the Go To Market strategies ensuring that the sales/customer voice is top of mind during business planning, S&OP, new product launches, shopper marketing spend and supply chain challenges. In addition, you will be responsible for facilitating the day-to-day communication between Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations to execute against business goals and to problem solve challenges.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build an annual Go To Market strategy to influence the development of corporate sales priorities and building blocks focused on simplification, innovation and growth.
- Work in partnership with cross functional key stakeholders to empower the organization with reliable insights and solution driven information to enable strong customer communications and to support execution of corporate priorities.
- Responsible for Commercial Calendar Implementation and successful execution of key building blocks (shopper marketing programs, innovation launches and sku rationalization)
- Lead the cross functional relationship management between sales, marketing, customer service and planning. Leverage the cross functional relationships to be the voice of sales, resolve pain points and oversee the allocation process.
- Build strategic communication tools to create consistent messaging that fosters a collaborative, efficient and effective culture.
- Key Contributor to monthly S&OP process and represent the sales team in supply operations meetings.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education.
- 3-5 years of experience working in a CPG Company or National Retailer.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with experience in Account Management, Commercialization, Go To Market, Marketing or Category Management.
- Ability to lead the creation of strategy and foster internal cross functional relationships.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to inspire and influence others through story telling.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as working knowledge of syndicated data systems.
- Self-motivated with high energy, ability to multi-task and execute multiple projects on time.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute with excellence.
- Valid G driving licence required.
