- About the Role:
As a CBRE Energy Analyst, you will assist in supporting the implementation of energy initiatives for a small to medium-sized site, region, or account.This job is part of the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.What You’ll Do:
- Identify cost savings opportunities and budgets for utilities. Assist with the coordination of energy procurement and energy-related projects on behalf of client accounts.
- Prepare monthly variance and energy service status reports. Monitor and report on energy use, bill gap reviews, and spending trends.
- Maintain, review, and evaluate utility bill data.
- Provide basic energy and sustainability-related input to preventative maintenance and engineering procedures.
- Help with the development of site energy profiles, site surveys, and energy plans. Gather and organize all support documentation as directed.
- Under supervision participate in site inspections, surveys, and reporting.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Impact the quality of own work.
- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Exchange straightforward information, asks questions, and check for understanding.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureWhat You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
