Reporting to the Financial Analyst, the Accounting Coordinator is a key member of the finance team and manages the day-to-day accounting functions. The Accounting Coordinator wears many hats and is responsible for ensuring adequate controls and processes are in place to capture and transfer operational data to the accounting system.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing key processes, such as bank activity, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
- Load input models, run and distribute reports
- Perform transfers into the accounting system (A/R, A/P, Shop Activity)
- Assist in testing transfer interfaces to the accounting system
- Review A/P input batches for coding accuracy
- Monitor system set-up to ensure smooth flow of information between systems
- Process journal entries
- Other accounting and administrative tasks, as required

**Qualifications**:

- A college or university degree, ideally with a focus on accounting or finance preferred
- One year experience in similar role with a financial focus is an asset
- Solid communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writing English
- Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel, is an asset
- Ability to exercise considerable judgement, confidentiality, and discretion
