The AVP Lease Administration - CDN Dealer Services is responsible for Retail Funding and Contract Administration departments. This position will ensure that safeguards are in place to minimize risk exposure to the Company as well as ensure adherence to the documentation and policy requirements by all staff. The AVP Lease Administration - CDN Dealer Services is responsible for reviewing business processes and looking for areas of improvements. The AVP Lease Administration - CDN Dealer Services will plan and coordinate operations testing of new systems and processes, and changes to existing systems.

**Bilingual French/English skills are strongly preferred.**

**Responsibilities**:
Policy Guidance (30%)
- Provide expertise to staff regarding documentation policy and provide sign off when required
- Decision on current documentation policy guide, insurance, and risk requirements to minimize exposure
- Update, modify and clarify documentation policy and any relevant procedure
- Ensure that policy guide is up to date and that staff have a full understanding of the documentation requirements

Program Management (20%)
- Summarize all the new GMCL programs on a monthly basis for exceptions and contract administration staff
- Review all new programs and promotions that the GMCL introduce on a particular month

Education and Training (20%)
- Provide funding training for new staff and ongoing funding training/mentoring support for existing staff
- Monitor the deficiency rate and ensure that files are processed and funded in a timely manner
- Provide support, coaching and training
- Recruit and hire personnel for retail funding and contract administration departments

Manage Funding Processes (20%)
- Monitor booking volumes to ensure that contract administration department is up to date with lease and loan processing
- Assess volume levels to ensure funding of lease and loan contracts remain within acceptable time standards (same day funding)
- Provide daily analysis of booking activity relative to staff efficiencies and dealer deficiency identification

MISCELLANEOUS (10% )
- Complete business requirements which are used during testing by staff members and project analysts
- Review the test cases to ensure that all scenarios have been tested

Qualifications:
**Knowledge**
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
- Working knowledge of MS Project and Visio
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and manage expectations accordingly
- Analytical skills with an ability to evaluate problems and make recommendations for courses of action
- Ability to exercise independent and sound judgment while realizing potential consequences
- Ability to make independent decisions and effectively manage assigned teams and team members
- Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new practices
- Strong listening, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
- Motivated, self-directed, dependable and demonstrates flexibility
- Attention to detail and a forward thinker with an ability to think outside the box
- Ability to deal with and adapt to a constant change and effectively prioritize as well as execute tasks in a high-pressure environment within critical deadlines
- Ability to relate well with others, build relationships and constructively interact with a variety of people and situations

**Education**
- Secondary School
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

**Experience**
- 10+ years working in an automotive finance lease and loan operations environment required
- Minimum of 5 years managing at a manager level in the automotive industry required
- Experience managing multiple teams in multiple locations (remote) preferred
