**COD Concrete**
- Position Summary:_

The objective of this position is to operate a Ready Mix truck in such a manner as to deliver a quality product to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Key Responsibilities:_

adhere to all COD safety and environmental policies and procedures (Safe movement and operation of a concrete ready mix truck)

Providing customers with excellent service

Providing a usable product to the customer (i.e.: correct slump)

Maintaining a positive appearance of your vehicle and person

Maintaining continual contact with dispatch to provide timely service to customers

Maintain a level of physical and mental fitness necessary to safely and efficiently perform all related duties.

Positively represent **COD Concrete** in the field and promote environmental awareness

Promote a team environment

To perform other duties as required
- Results/Accountabilities_:
General safety in and around your vehicle

Reporting unsafe job sites and procedures to supervisor

Report service, repair and general maintenance of vehicle to shop personnel

Maintain a positive image to the customers and the general public

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)

Driver's License (Class 1 or A); Driver's License (Class 3 or D); Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Experience
- Knowledge and Skills:_

Excellent customer relations skills

Basic knowledge of truck maintenance

Manual transmission experience

Solid knowledge of the city and surrounding area

Good knowledge of concrete

Able to work in a team environment
- Dimensions_:
Report to the Supervisor, Ready Mix.

Works with dispatch, quality control, sales and management.

Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip); Maintenance and repair reports; Trip reports

Pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing, a criminal record check and a Drivers abstract may be required. Proof of Class 1 or Class 3 license will be required.

$30.00-$32.00 per hour
