**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Western Forest Products is currently looking for a **HR/LR Intern** to support our Human Resources and Labour Relations departments in Nanaimo, BC. _The term will likely be for 3-4 months with possibility of extension._

**What You’ll Do**: As the HR/LR Intern, your primary responsibility will be to support in organizing our HR/LR paper and electronic files, including implementing proper filing systems and data management.

**Who You Are**: We are looking for someone with previous administrative experience in a professional setting. You have a positive attitude, are friendly and approachable, and can work independently with a high degree of accuracy.

**Work Environment**: This role is to be performed in person at our Nanaimo Corporate Office.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- General Administrative duties
- Perform daily filing, scanning and archiving of employee documents
- Perform other duties as requested

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Word and Outlook;
- Self-starter with a strong attention to detail, high accuracy and dedication to delivering high quality work on time;
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality.
- Able to work unsupervised
- Accountable and dependable
