**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Marketing Analytics Manager, as a Marketing Research Specialist at Transat, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis and providing key insights to support the company's strategic marketing decisions. You will work closely with the marketing team to identify market trends, understand customer needs and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Conduct in-depth market research to assess trends, customer preferences and growth opportunities.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to provide actionable insights.
- Use marketing research tools such as surveys, focus groups, interviews, online questionnaires, etc., to collect relevant data.
- Carry out competitive analyses to assess Transat's market position and identify competitive advantages.
- Continuously monitor performance of marketing campaigns and recommend strategic adjustments based on results.
- Identify key market segments and propose effective targeting strategies to maximize campaign reach.
- Prepare detailed reports on market research results, including strategic recommendations for marketing team and senior management.
- Work closely with other company departments to share key information and align objectives.
**Qualifications**:
- Academic background in marketing, statistics, social research, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience (+ 3 years) in marketing research, preferably in the aviation or tourism sector.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to formulate strategic recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex results clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in marketing research tools and data analysis software.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the travel industry an asset
