We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hiab Crane Truck Operator/Driver to join our Richmond Waste Services team.

**Work Environment**

This position works a standard 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, out of Richmond, AB, with eligibility for overtime as required.

**A Day in The Life**
- You will comply with all Government NSC Regulations
- You will safely operate various units, including but not limited to Hiab loader crane truck, Vacuum trucks, Cube Vans etc., in diverse weather and challenging work site environments.
- You will abide by all Secure’s Waste Management and customer site-specific safety procedures.
- You will ensure all waste containers are labeled in accordance with TDG Regulations. (Drums - stick on labels, Bags - in pocket, Bins - wire tie label). You will ensure all labels are completed in full including shipping name, generator name, approval number, TDG Class, UN number, Packing Group number, load number, drum number, etc.
- You will inspect all waste materials to ensure compliance with manifest, recycle docket and bill of lading descriptions.
- You will be a team player and be part of an on-call rotation for off hours and weekends
- You will be able to communicate effectively daily with the Dispatch to maximize customer needs and Secure’s efficiency.
- You will assist with operations at Secure’s Richmond haz waste facility.

**Skills, Experience, & Qualifications**
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience in the transportation industry or demonstrated competency
- Class 1 or Class 3 licence required, preference will be given to a class 1 driver
- Solid knowledge base with respect to Hours of Service, load securement and driving regulations
- Solid understanding of mountain and roadway driving in all weather conditions using standard transmissions.
