Rock Truck Operator

United Group is searching for an experienced rock truck operator to utilize our company-owned articulating rock trucks ranging from 25 tons to 35 tons. The rock truck operator's duties are to follow directions given daily from a site foreman/ superintendent and are to ensure that the equipment is being operated in a correct, safe manner. They must also be able to perform routine maintenance on the truck to ensure that it is in good working order.
- Operate rock truck to haul rock, gravel or other materials during construction and related activities
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as necessary
- Report and take instructions from a supervisor or foreman
- Performing other construction duties as needed
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member
**Requirements**:
- Relevant license and safety certification
- Understanding of industry-standard safe working procedures
- Understanding of how to conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and how to maintain them
- Ability to commute to job site locations in the Lower Mainland
- Technical knowledge of how to properly use equipment needed for the job
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Capacity to provide and follow direction
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
