**Major Responsibilities**:

- Visit customers to investigate/troubleshoot quality concerns.
- Negotiate and report appropriate response/conclusion/financial outcome to internal and external customers on customer claims.
- Complete and track electronic systems entries on claims, credits, returns, etc.
- Work with outside processors to resolve quality concerns and negotiate claim settlements.
- Investigate root cause/corrective actions for customer quality issues/claims and disposition material accordingly.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement from root cause investigations at internal and external processing operations.
- Provide Technical support for internal and external sales, operations and purchasing.
- Support purchasing and sales on cost savings initiatives. Support supplier and product development

**Qualifications**:

- College/University education in a manufacturing/engineering/quality discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with flat rolled steel and aluminum.
- Experience working in the automotive industry.
- General knowledge of automotive specifications
- General knowledge of automotive quality systems and AIAG requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organized.
