Biotech IT Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Support Consultant to join our growing HyperCare support team at CrucialLogics Inc.

This role involves directly supporting clients, acting as a resource for junior team members and supporting the delivery of IT services to ensure they meet the needs of our clients.

You will be joining a team of people that are delivering technology services to clients in the Biotech Field.

The ideal candidate will have a background in a variety of Microsoft technologies, an understanding of IT infrastructure, the ability to manage multiple projects and work streams, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.

This is an on-site position in Hamilton, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance / support for consultants, staff and users.
  • Manage relationships and interface with clients directly.
  • Monitor IT systems and infrastructure to ensure they are functioning optimally and issues are addressed promptly.
  • Lead the delivery of IT services to ensure they meet the needs and expectations of the business.
  • Develop and implement IT service delivery strategies and plans.
  • Ensure that IT services comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with client IT departments to plan and execute IT initiatives effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions.
  • Support a positive work environment that promotes service, quality, innovation and teamwork.
  • Ensure timely communication of issues.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of IT services.
  • Working schedule follows standard business hours and includes an on-call rotation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior technical resource, technical team lead or similar role.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with: Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, networking, virtualization platforms.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
