**Summary**

Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking a Full-Time Inside Contract Sales team member. The shifts are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm, the wage range is $25 - $28 per hour.

**Responsibilites**

Including but not limited to the following:

- Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers
- Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as a top priorities
- Project quotes, enter delivery orders, place special orders, and assist in purchasing
- Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs, follow up on deliveries, and awareness of project time line to foresee material needs
- Maintaining merchandising standards in designated areas
- Attend Sales Team Meetings as needed
- Be a source of knowledge and willing to learn about new building materials: Lumber, Roofing, Siding, Insulation, Drywall, Hardware, Retaining Walls, Pavers, Concrete, etc.
- Take pride in your work environment keeping your desk area clean and presentable
- Respect and obey safety policies and procedures in our yard and on jobsites
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- A broad knowledge of building supplies is necessary
- Available to work a variety of hours including weekends
- Sales experience an asset
- Competitive spirit and results driven
- Computer Skills required
- Able to multi-task and prioritize
- Self-motivated and detail orientated
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- A positive can do attitude is essential

**The Location - Langford, 1210 Chidlow Connector Rd.**

This branch offers an excellent selection of products including lumber, siding, concrete, drywall, insulation, power tools, paint, flooring, hardware and more. We also boast Vancouver Island’s largest fleet of building material delivery trucks.
