The Responsibilities

Including but not limited to the following:

  • Respect and obey safety policies and procedures in our yard and on jobsites
  • Work in partnership with Outside Contract Sales Team
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Review Building Links, leads sheets, and attend Sales Team Meetings to follow sales opportunities
  • Take pride in your work environment keeping your desk area clean and presentable
  • Greet and assist customers with purchases, provide suggestions and recommendations on products and materials
  • Provide project quotes, enter delivery orders/special orders and assist in purchasing
  • Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs, follow up on deliveries, and awareness of project timeline to foresee material needs
  • Be a source of information and continue to increase knowledge with interior, exterior, commercial doors, mouldings, windows and garage doors
  • General housekeeping duties and general stocking of merchandise as required in store and warehouse
  • Communicate with the shipping department to ensure delivery schedules and instructions are met
  • Participate in quarterly weekend inventory counts
  • Other duties as assigned by management

The Requirements

  • A broad knowledge of commercial doors, windows and hardware is an asset
  • One or all of the AHC, CDC or EHC professional certifications is an asset
  • Detail orientated with disciplined work habits
  • Minimum two years sales experience is an asset
  • Effective communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak in English
  • Strong computer skills
  • Microsoft basedOutlook, Word, Excel
  • Customerservice focused
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment

The Location - Door Shop, 1210 Chidlow Connector Rd.


Our Langford Store and Door Shop are conveniently located on a major transit route just off of Sooke Road past the Luxton Fairgrounds.

The Door Shop provides the production team with state-of-the-art equipment for manufacturing interior and exterior residential and commercial doors. This diverse team works well together by showing mutual respect and collaboration.
